The Position

We are seeking a strong developer to build-out and maintenance a business facing desktop application. The application is built in .NET stack - WPF, Web API, SQL Server. The ideal candidate is an expert C#/WPF developer who has the talent to solve challenging technical problems, loves designing user-friendly interfaces, and takes satisfaction in seeing people enjoy using the applications they create.


Job Responsibilities

  • Understand functional requirements
  • Design and code current and new business functionality in the strategic platform
  • Ensure solutions conform to best practice design
  • Work closely with peer developers across regions to ensure a complete global solution


Desired Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of .Net framework
  • Ability to build desktop UI applications using C# and WPF using MVVM
  • Strong knowledge of object orientated analysis/design, design patterns, n-tier architecture
  • Prior use of multi-threaded applications using asynchronous and event driven programming
  • Working knowledge of database queries, stored procedures and other database objects using SQL server
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pro-active and cooperative attitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate with business users effectively
  • Working knowledge of Web Technology, AngularJS, Bootstrap, JSON, HTML, Javascript

Desired Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, math or similar
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with .Net framework, building desktop UI applications using C# and WPF, and using MVVM and multi-threaded applications using asynchronous and event driven programming
