Arch & Our Regional Actuarial Department

This regional actuarial department provides pricing and analytical support for Healthcare, Construction, National Accounts Casualty, High Excess Workers Compensation, Surety, and Defense Base Act business units. These units provide medical professional liability for hospitals and facilities; and loss sensitive large account programs covering workers compensation, general liability and auto liability.



This position will be the actuarial leader for some of our business units, serving as the key actuarial representative on the business unit’s strategic leadership team, and performing and overseeing the team’s work in large account pricing, building and maintaining pricing tools, book monitoring and metrics, and new pricing projects. This position also provides peer reviews for other business units and identifies opportunities for process improvement or new projects that should be considered.

  • P&C Actuarial qualifications; FCAS strongly preferred
  • Breadth and depth of actuarial experience; 5+ years expected, 10+ preferred
