In this position you will be working in the Actuarial Department of a dynamic insurance company supporting the quarterly reserve reviews, reserving projects, financial and statutory reporting. You will be working with and reporting to the Reserving Manager to strategize and implement decisions and enhancements.  The position also provides regular interaction with senior executives at Arch.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Selecting IBNR for complex business units covering P&C and Specialty business segments for US & Canada
  • Providing information for SOX and Reserve Audits
  • Managing and/or participating in special reserving projects
  • Peer reviewing analyses performed by other reserving actuaries
  • Liaising with Pricing Actuaries, Claims, IT, Finance, and Various Underwriting Departments

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • 2-6 years of experience with 2-4 actuarial exams, with ambition to attain FCAS
