Arch MI is seeking a Sr. Executive Assistant to coordinate and support operational and administrative functions for the Chief Risk Officer and senior staff. The individual will act as a main internal and external contact for this executive and operate within a broad framework of established policies and procedures. The individual will be expected to exercise independent judgment, prioritize own work, and determine procedures and policies to follow in various situations.

Serves as internal and external liaison for the EVP/Business Unit Chief’s group team members. Produces and maintains confidential records, documents, and correspondence used for high level, strategic meetings, projects and initiatives.
Coordinates travel and conference arrangements for internal and external customers, schedules appointments, and prioritizes mail. Manages agenda and scheduling for regular flow of guests from national and international locations.
Reviews expense reports for accuracy and compliance with current policy. Submits expense reports and ensures proper processing.
Provides input to budget planning. Coordinates personnel budgeting for department/business unit and/or the executive officer’s direct reports.
Analyzes staffing and expenses, tracking budgets for all levels of the executive officer’s groups. Identifies variances determines causes and reports to executive officer.
Assists other departments in compiling information for various communication forums.
Provides leadership and/or direction to departmental/business unit executive assistants to ensure proper project priority and coordination of events, space planning, etc. Assists in the training of other executive assistants.
Implements (and may create) various processes and procedures necessary to effectively support the department/business unit.
May assist in the creation and production of board materials.
Ability to manage special projects.
Knowledge & Skills:
Fully proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
Strong ability to use discretion and maintain confidential information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to prepare concise written documents.
Good problem solving and decision making skills to ensure efficient administrative operations throughout the large business function/unit.
Ability to collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Good attention to detail.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree plus 4 to 6 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
