    The Position

    The Sr. Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of BI solutions.   


    Job Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and document BI requirements
    • Analyze BI requirements and design/develop Cognos Reporting solutions to support standard reporting, dashboard and self-service environment
    • Analyze requirements and architect appropriate solutions, with detailed design documents
    • Review current architecture and recommend changes as appropriate
    • Ensure documentation is up to date
    • Collaborate wit stakeholders to define the business layer and presentation layer of the BI Model that is business friendly and supports a self-service  environment




    Desired Skills

    • Proficiency with Cognos BI (preferably 10.2.2) Product Suite (Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager, Transformer)
    • Hands on Framework Manager Dimensional Modeling, Transformer cube, Design and Development
    • Strong SQL skills



    Required Education/Experience 

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Minmum eight years experience in Business Intelligence focus, with at least five years hands on experience in dashboard and report development utilizing Cognos
    • Proven experience in scripting (Java Scripting/JQuery) to extend to Cognos capabilities
    • Experience with ETL tools
