Position Description:


  • Manage short-term and FMLA, including managing and counseling employees regarding New Jersey Family Leave, and other statutory leave programs
  • Administer the Arch medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans
  • Audit insurance carriers and vendors; Run frequent reports from vendor systems
  • Administer COBRA – audit TPA’s reports and severance employees on Cobra
  • Conduct Employee orientations
  • Assist with processing 401(k) plan transactions
  • Input data into HRIS system and into spreadsheets, and generate reports
  • Manage and update the Benefit Administrative Manual and all benefit communications
  • Perform weekly, monthly and annual tasks as noted on the Corporate Compliance Calendar
  • Manage Bright Horizons daycare program; Assist with negotiating contract renewal
  • Manage Tuition Reimbursement Program
  • Audit Life Insurance approvals
  • Handle Insurance billing
  • Manage gym membership program
  • Other miscellaneous benefits duties as assigned


  • Five plus years of experience in Benefits


  • Strong knowledge of Reportsmith, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of HRIS a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
