    The Social Media/Content Specialist Intern will manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including: Develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written). He/She works closely with Marketing and other internal departments to coordinate the promotion of Arch MI products and services.

     

    *This will be a nine month internship (could possibly go longer).*

    Responsibilities

    1. Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content for social media channel to reach the company’s target customers.
    2. Create and maintain a regular social media publishing schedule.
    3. Create, curate, and manage all published social media content.
    4. Timely, accurate and consistent data entry into RH (database) for Marketing project management.
    5. Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
    6. Work directly with the creative and digital teams to execute on initiatives.
    7. Conducts market research as directed regarding industry trends on social media.
    8. Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies and tweak strategy as needed.
    9. Compile reports for management showing results.
    10. Ensures all work consistently supports the brand guidelines regarding tone, messaging and visibility.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge & Skills:

    1. Effective organizational and project management skills.
    2. Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
    3. Ability to create compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.
    4. Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
    5. Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
    6. Must be able to take feedback from multiple parties and be able to find compromises that work for all.
    7. Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
    8. Strong computer skills and possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with project management databases.
    9. Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary on content development, creation and editing of content.
    10. Positive, proactive and energetic attitude while juggling the requests of high profile and demanding stakeholders
    11. Punctual and dependable, able to adjust schedule to meet business demands
    12. Ability to carry out responsibilities with little supervision

    Education & Experience:

     

    Required knowledge and skills would typically be acquired through:

    1. 2-5 years of communications and/or marketing experience with a social media focus.
    2. Bachelors degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
    3. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and ability to create concise messaging and plans to drive the desired external response across all social platforms and conversation streams.
    4. Deep understating of all social media platforms and experience with multiple social media tools
    5. Track record of working closely with senior leaders on social media strategies and activities.
    6. Solid experience project management
