    The Position

    We are seeking an employee to champion our Employee Experience efforts, including Arch’s Corporate Responsibility (CR) Program. This person will focus on creating a positive employee experience and should exhibit a high-level of understanding and passion for attracting, engaging, retaining and developing talent of the corporation. This role will be comprised of both day-to-day administrative tasks and project work. The person in this role will have the opportunity to work with the Director, Human Resource Services, Arch senior leadership and employees in all Arch subsidiaries. The Employee Experience Specialist, Human Resource Services will be required to travel approximately 10% of the time.


    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist with the development of the strategic plan and manage on-going strategic direction for the Corporate Responsibility Program
    • Lead the implementation of programming in our three areas of focus including Employee Engagement, Corporate Citizenship, and Environmental Sustainability
    • Support the planning and organizing of internal Corporate Responsibility advisory council, sub-committees, and project team meetings including scheduling and the development of agendas, meeting minutes, supporting materials
    • Partner with the Corporate Communications Team to develop and execute internal and external communication plans that reflect Arch’s investment in employees including email marketing campaigns, posters, photography/videography and content for LinkedIn and Arch’s website
    • Develop metrics for measuring the effectiveness of the Corporate Responsibility Program to prepare quarterly and annual reports for the Board of Directors, senior management, Human Resources and other key stakeholders
    • Present program updates and metrics to the Corporate Responsibility Advisory Council, the CR Program Sub-Committees, the Human Resources Team and senior management
    • Develop and manage the Charitable Matching Gift Program, including the implementation of a tracking system, handling internal and external funding requests, the review and approval process, and maintaining the company-wide donation policy
    • Support the successful execution of an Employee Recognition Program  
    • Assist with the development of policies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse work force and work with the Arch Learning Council and the Training & Development Teams to create e-learning diversity training materials and coordinate online training
    • Coordination and administration of employee satisfaction surveys including the development, the distribution and analysis of the surveys, and the presentation of the survey results
    • Make Recommendations for Continuous Improvement Projects associated with Employee Experience and Corporate Responsibility
    • Create and maintain process documentation for all day to day practices
    • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team

    Required Education/Experience 

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • MBA and/or Corporate Responsibility Certification preferred

    • 1-2 years’ work experience in community affairs/relations, public affairs, public policy, marketing, corporate communications, human resources, business administration, or related field

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
