    Responsibilities

    The Position

    Position will underwrite and manage multiple captive programs (countrywide, multi-line) including evaluation of primary and excess loss potential and pricing.

     

    Job Responsibilities

     

    Sophisticated risk evaluation and pricing skills. Comfortable with loss modeling independently and with actuarial support. Knowledge of captive contracts including reinsurance agreements. Understanding of captive accounting. Ability to effectively interact and negotiate directly with producers, large insureds, and program vendors.

    Qualifications

    Desired Skills

    • Proficient in excel, word, and paperless file environment. Knowledgeable in ISO and NCCI coverage forms and endorsements and rating plans. Familiarity with Policy Decisions a plus.

    Required Education/Experience 

    • College degree and 10 years of UW experience with commercial ART and/or programs experience strongly preferred.
