  • Overview

    The Senior Premium Auditor will perform virtual or on site reviews of policy holder’s payroll, accounting and financial records to determine final exposures on auditable policies.

    Responsibilities

    • Knowledge of ISO Premium Audit Rules for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Commercial Automobile.
    • Ability to prepare accurate premium audits applying audit rules; and defend accurate premium states on basis on audit findings
    • Ability to communicate with brokers, clients, and underwriters
    • Working knowledge of accounting procedures and documents used in the premium audit process.
    • Work in compliance with various state rating bureau rules especially WCIRB and NCCI

    Qualifications

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

     

    • Solid analytical skills
    • Familiarity with industry standards and rating classifications
    • Problem resolution skills are essential
    • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Self-motivated and organized
    • Strong Excel Skills
    • NEXUS (premium audit software) is a plus

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

     

    • Minimum of ten years of premium audit field experience
    • Must be experienced in auditing of complex workers compensation, general liability and auto liability policies
    • BA/BS or insurance designated degree such as APA, CIPA or CPCU
