    Responsibilities

    Position Description

    • Identify, document and communicate data needs for effective regulatory data reporting to the NAIC, FIO, state DOIs and state-licensed data collection organizations (ex. ISO)
    • Work with AIGI IT to ensure the proper capture and recording of these data needs
    • Work directly with Watford’s MGAs, Insurity and other vendors to ensure the proper capture and recording of these data needs as well as establish workflows for providing this data to AIGI
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any data or data processing issues
    • Conduct regular meetings with Watford management to quickly identify new or emerging programs or opportunities
    • Process and allocate payments for policyholder surcharges, guaranty fund, other premium-based or loss-based assessments and boards and bureaus obligations

    Report the following applicable to all lines of business other than Workers’ Compensation:

    • Gather data, prepare, edit and perform error correction to detail data files and submit quarterly data to ISO
    • Perform ISO Annual Verification (reconciliation to Annual Statement) and address out of balances
    • Gather data, prepare and file state data calls and surcharge/assessment reports
    • Gather data, prepare and file surplus lines reports
    • Gather data, prepare and file claims data calls due to natural catastrophes
    • Research and respond to state inquiries regarding data and data reporting

     

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience:

    • In depth knowledge of insurance data and stat plans for lines of business other than Workers’ Compensation.
    • A minimum of 5 year’s experience in a data reporting role.
    • College degree preferred.

    Key Competencies:

    • MS Office, including a proficiency in Excel and MS Access.
    • Ability to run SQL scripts.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
