    Responsibilities

    The Position

    The Senior Business Analyst, Financial Systems is responsible for gathering requirements, developing workflow and system specifications, and execution of tasks required to deliver IT solutions in support of Finance applications.  This role will support the administration of the global OneStream XF application including future enhancements as well as the metadata management across the Corporate OneStream XF Applications. This position will specifically be responsible for the global OneStreamXF application and all applicable touchpoints and integration. Senior Business Analyst, Financial Systems will support metadata management across all the Corporate OneStream XF applications and work directly with all business groups that utilize the application to gather ongoing requirements for end-user enhancements and changes.

     

     

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage consolidations, integrations and perform validations from source systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, Great Plains) and ensure source data flows downstream as required to OneStream XF cubes
    • Perform monthly and daily maintenance of OneStream XF including the execution and monitoring of extract and load processes
    • Support the OneStream application and deployed cubes across all active environments (Production, Test and Dev)
    • Perform data reconciliation and maintain data integrity of what is being loaded into the OneStream XF application and downstream cube
    • Maintain key processes used to support the consolidation and Financial Cube Views with OneStream XF and associated cubes
    • Drive the metadata intake, processing and approval process, as well as deployment into OneStream XF cubes
    • Coordinate metadata updates across the Corporate OneStream XF System with the other system admins
    • Gather requirements from the business users and well as developing system specifications for projects, enhancements and issue
    • Drive solutions via system modifications and/or workflow to implement new processes (automation, regulatory)
    • Create, maintain, and update financial reports and forms and perform training and end-user education of the system functionality as needed
    • Issue resolution/escalation including prioritization and tracking
    • Manage projects through the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Assist in developing project plans for capturing and converting financial information
    • Develop reports in several systems including OneStream XF Cube Views and Excel Add-in
    • Interpret and analyze business requirements submitted on metadata
    • Maintain financial information within various applications

    Qualifications

    Desired Skills

    • Ability to work with senior-level management, technical teams (developers, architects, QA, infrastructure), business partners and software vendors to document and implement system modifications on time and within budget
    • Proven track record in building strong relationships with clients and business partners
    • Excellent interpersonal, documentation, communication, and presentation skills
    • Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
    • Strong problem solving skills with the initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all required elements
    • Experience in reporting and data validation/reconciliation a plus
    • Ability to work independently and drive for results

     

    Required Education/Experience 

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 2+ years’ experience with OneStream XF or similar financial consolidation product
    • 5+ years’ experience with Financial Systems, preferable with at least 2 in the insurance industry implementing and/or maintaining financial systems
    • Excellent knowledge of key Finance business processes for GL, AR/AP, Budget, Consolidations and familiarity with a broad spectrum of Insurance and Financial applications
    • Experience with SQL, SAP, PeopleSoft and Great Plains ERP/General Ledger application as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
