    Responsibilities

    The Position

    The Data Analyst will be responsible for overseeing Arch’s Travel and Accident business unit’s data feeds, data quality, reporting and analytics.

     

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage, monitor and ensure integrity of all Travel data feeds
    • Interact with internal and external parties regarding all data feeds and issues
    • Design, implement and perform data control and reconciliation processes
    • Ensure the quality of all data during its entire lifecycle
    • Responsible for month-end reporting
    • Responsible for the Travel data warehouse and reporting including report design, development and testing
    • Develop and monitor reports, providing support to Management, Underwriting and Marketing
    • Assist Claims, Customer Service and Marketing in reporting and analytics initiatives
    • Support Marketing with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, A/B testing and other marketing analytics platforms
    • Support Business Development sales and prospecting analytics
    • Monitor technology platform performance through Google Webmaster, SEO Moz, Pingdom and other tools
    • Monitor conversion and production data from internal and external sales sources
    • Work with Customer Service and Claims to manage staffing models and performance metrics

    • Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel

    Required Education/Experience 

    • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst in the Financial Services sector
    • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development and data mining
    • Strong knowledge of and experience with MS SQL reporting package
    • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
    • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
