    Responsibilities

    The Position

    • Are you a digital learning guru with a passion for creating engaging, innovative and effective learning solutions? Digital learning is at the heart of our L&D plan and we are seeking a highly skilled and creative individual to join our team in the role of Sr. Digital Learning Developer. The individual in this role will provide leadership and support for the development of Arch’s online learning environment and use of digital tools for employee learning and professional development.

     

    Job Responsibilities
      • Use sound instructional principles to design, develop, and implement high-quality, engaging learning experiences including eLearning, micro-learning, gamification, mobile learning, video, podcasts, and blended learning.
      • Create storyboards, scripts, multimedia, narration, graphics, games, animations and interactive simulations.
      • Responsible for video production and post-production audio and video editing.
      • Provides technical leadership in the support and optimization of Arch's enterprise-wide learning management system (LMS).
      • Performs as the primary system administrator of the LMS and oversees the daily functionality of the system, as well as tools and software integrated with the LMS.
      • Provides thought leadership on multimedia learning best practice and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
      • Strong project management and organizational skills
      • Communicates effectively both internally and with external providers
      • Troubleshoots and resolves issues as they relate to digital learning technologies.
      • Serves as point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with LMS vendor and other vendor support services.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge & Skills:

      • Instructional design qualification with a strong level of technical and creative design knowledge
      • Gamification experience
      • Learning solution architecture experience
      • Good visual design skills and the ability to storyboard
      • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) capabilities and limitations
      • Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, Java script, CSS)
      • Proven experience in video production using audio/video production equipment and software to create high-quality, compelling video-based learning experiences.
      • Experience and proficient understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, project management methodologies
      • Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and eLearning authoring tools
      • Organized professional able to work effectively alone and as a part of a broader team
      • Must be able to manage projects from conception to completion
      • Attention to detail and accuracy
      • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
      • Passionate about creating great interactive learning

    Education & Experience

        • Bachelor’s Degree in instructional technology, educational technology, distance education, computer sciences, digital media or graphic design or related field required.
