    The Arch MI Digital Product Management team has responsibility for solving human and business problems with new technology. This role drives the product strategy, product roadmap development, and market delivery/operation of the product offering in assigned business segment. The Digital Product Manager will work closely with business peers and digital product management team members to effectively execute against digital initiatives including Partner Products, web/mobile channel, and Enterprise Technologies. The incumbent will be an experienced dynamic, multidimensional digital professional who is strategic, technology savvy, and skilled in both product strategy and operational efficiencies.

    Responsibilities

    1. Plan, prioritize, and manage the product features and requirements from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize revenue and meet operational, financial and corporate objectives in their business segment through their thorough understanding of the business segment needs.
    2. Partner with business owners to build product roadmaps that will be incorporated in to the broader company product portfolio plan
    3. Foster close relationships with key market constituents to validate product strategy and roadmap
    4. Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure consistent execution of product plans that result in product delivery on time and in budget
    5. Engage business partners to develop and execute action plans to address gaps
    6. Work with IT and Business partners to ensure the digital product in operation are well understood and supported
    7. Partners with business and technical teams to plan and prioritize system releases and specific release content.
    8. Assist with preparation of business case (financial/ROI) analysis to quantify & determine the value to the company of a current or potentially new system/application. 
    9. Understands the business and follows the software development methodology and processes and is effectively working with the software engineering/development teams. 
    10. Perform market research, market validation and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for existing and new features and functionality

     

    Qualifications

    Knowledge & Skills:

    1. Experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions for building best in class digital products
    2. Understanding of product lifecycle development in an Agile environment
    3. Experience defining digital content experiences (experience with mortgage and financial services products helpful)
    4. Ability to evaluate, analyze and interpret the voice of the customer through a variety of data sources
    5. Ability to be strategic and tactical in day to day interactions
    6. Demonstrated knowledge of digital channels and platforms (e.g., web, mobile, client PC, partner products, social, video)
    7. Familiarity with technologies utilized in the industry and the ability to see their impact
    8. Good consensus building skills
    9. Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear, understandable way 
    10. Ability to overcome internal barriers and negotiate resource constraints to produce successful digital initiatives
    11. Good communication and presentation skills.
    12. Prior experience working with 3rd party vendors to deliver results
    13. Ability to establish credibility, influence and effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders.
    14. Comfortable interacting and partnering at all levels across the organization
    15. Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and rapidly changing environment.
    16. Understanding of usability and user experience best practices

     

    Education & Experience:

     

    Required knowledge & skills would typically be acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or related field (or equivalent in experience) with 3 to 5 years or related experience.
