    The Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing & Strategic Initiatives position is responsible for leading Arch execution of branding and marketing, distribution data and analytics, sales tools, marketing plan support and key strategic initiatives.  


    Specifically, this position is directly accountable for the following responsibilities:



    • Develop marketing plan template that will be utilized by organization to creation regional and national Business Unit plans.
    • Lead development of Arch Insurance branding
    • Create Arch sales culture, including processes, tools, training, incentives, etc.
    • Serve as key leader on Strategy & Distribution team to shape strategies and direction


    • Execute marketing strategies and initiatives to support brand strategy and regional/national Business Unit marketing plans.
    • Develop Voice of the Customer direction and oversee implementation of specific initiatives (surveys, councils, etc.) at regional and national level that provide valuable feedback and direction for Arch.
    • Lead strategy development for regional and national distributor events, and manage execution support.
    • Lead the development and implementation of sales tools that will be vital to the sales strategy execution, including distributor profiles, CRM, etc.
    • Oversee project management for key strategic initiatives 


    • Lead the development of financial reporting database that facilitates efficient measuring of distribution results across all Business Units.
    • Oversee development and rollout of financial reporting tool that can be used broadly across organization for self-service and includes frequently used template reports plus ad hoc reporting capabilities.


    • Collaborate with other members of Strategy & Distribution leadership to identify and execute focused initiatives that support business goals. 
    • Work with Strategy & Distribution leadership to develop necessary sales and marketing tools, marketing collateral materials and to execute Voice of Customer initiatives.
    • Work with Strategy & Distribution leadership to create strategy for efficient measurement of business performance versus objectives, achievement of initiatives, and market share changes.

    Preferred Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of Archlink, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

    Required Education/Experience: 

    • 10+ years in P&C sales and/or marketing management
    • Extensive experience managing retail and/or wholesale distribution channels
    • Successful experience developing and implementing growth strategies
    • B.S. preferred
