    Responsibilities

    The Position

    The IT Program Manager will be responsible for IT strategy and implementation in support of Arch Technology Services (ATS) department programs and business operations, including purchasing and financial management. A successful candidate would be an experienced, multi-dimensional digital professional who is strategic, technologically savvy, and skilled in both program strategy and operational efficiencies. Minimal travel may be required.

     

    Job Responsibilities

    • Active in the designing, planning, system selection, development and configuration, implementation, testing, and support of IT programs
    • Function as an IT program manager and business analyst
    • Prioritize, manage, and communicate plans for system capabilities and deployment
    • Develop project roadmaps to match short-term and long-term business goals with specific technology solutions
    • Communicate the status of projects and deliverables to individuals involved
    • Understand the business strategy for proposed technology initiatives in assigned business segments, including cost/benefit estimates, market trends, competitive and risk analysis, industry best practices and project development timelines
    • Lead projects from start to finish and ensure proper support is in place upon delivery of new technology solutions
    • Collaborate with business and technology team members to ensure alignment of business goals and technology needs
    • Foster close relationships with key IT business groups on the status of projects and initiatives
    • Prepare project plans, budgets and recurring status updates across all ATS related IT initiatives
    • Understand the strategic direction of ATS, the technology we support, and technology business operations
    • May manage other teams/consultants as necessary

    Qualifications

    Desired Skills

    • PMP or CAPM certifications, preferred
    • Project management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

    Required Education/Experience 

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
    • Knowledge of financial concepts, processes, and systems
    • Prior Departmental Program management experience
    • Extensive experience with financial management and/or the implementation of system requirements based on changes in workflow or changes in business requirements
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint, project management software, and office automation tools
