    Responsibilities

    The Senior Claims Examiner, Employment Practices Liability is responsible for overall handling and disposition of EPL Claims.  The Examiner will analyze coverage, monitor claim developments, investigate the claim including legal and damage analysis, negotiate settlements and makes reserve recommendations.  They will work closely with Underwriters and the EPL Claims team to communicate claim developments and trends.

     

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a carrier, broker or law firm
    • JD required
    • Proper Adjuster Licensing in all applicable States
    • Strong evaluation and negotiation skills

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Hands-on experience and strong aptitude with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Ability to take part in active strategic discussions
    • Must have solid organization skills and be able to multi-task
